Stepping beyond a simple local event into a world-class festival blending Hallyu, fashion, and giving, the 2012 Gangnam Festival was organized around three major themes — the Gangnam Fashion Festival, the International Peace Marathon, and the Hallyu Festival. Together with companion events such as the Gangnam Grand Sale for international visitors and the Gangnam Master Chef Food Tasting showcasing premium local cuisine, it offered a wealth of attractions and entertainment.
