Maru Park Music Picnic

On Saturday, September 27, Maru Park in Gaepo-dong comes alive with the Maru Park Music Picnic, an autumn evening filled with everything from classical and traditional Korean sounds to nostalgic acoustic guitar and trot.
Part I showcases the energy of young traditional Korean performers. Tightrope master Seo Ju-hyang takes the stage with a thrilling act, alongside a vocal piece inspired by the legend of Guryongsan Mountain, Samhyeon Yukgak ensemble music, and lively folk percussion—bringing Korea’s heritage to life in all its rhythm and spirit PartII opens with the powerful sounds of the Gangnam Symphony Orchestra. Soprano Im Sun-hae and tenor Kim Hyo-jong will join to perform opera arias and musical numbers, offering audiences an elegant evening of classical artistry. Part III features a nostalgic acoustic guitar performance by C’est Si Bon legends Cho Young-nam and Yoon Hyung-joo. Together, they will sing in tribute to Our Yangjaecheon: 50 Years of Memories, evoking emotion and connection across generations. Part IV closes with a special stage featuring the pure voice of trot singer Oh Yoojin and the heartfelt style of Shin Yu.
