Introduction

Cracking nuts, flying kites, and seesawing by day; gathering by the stream at night to swing flaming tin cans in the traditional jwibulnori. When the bright full moon rose, making wishes and then building bonfires of kindling in the rice fields was the official finale. This park captures those boisterous memories of old Jeongwol Daeboreum (First Full Moon Festival), when the whole village stayed up late celebrating — and even its walking paths are beautiful.
