GALLERY YEH - Gangnam Art Scene
As one of the first-generation art galleries in Korea that opened its doors in Insa-dong in 1978, GALLERY YEH became the first gallery in Gangnam after its relocation in 1982.
Introduction

It is one of the first generation galleries in Korea that started in Insa-dong in 1978, and it is the first gallery to move to Gangnam in 1982, as if anticipating the future. In addition to this history, it was also designated as a ‘Seoul Future Heritage’ in recognition of its contribution to the popularization of fine arts in various genres such as painting, sculpture, media, installation art, and photography. As the gallery has remained faithful to its essence of introducing good exhibitions and good artists for nearly 45 years, the keen eye for art has become Ye Gallery's legacy. Designed by architect Jang Un-gyu in 2005, Ye Gallery is a huge canvas in itself. Although it is a famous attraction that has received several architectural awards, it aims to be a low-threshold art museum that can be visited while taking a walk around the neighborhood, like a friend who has been with you for a long time.
