Introduction

This is the second space opened in Seoul by Perrotin, which entered Korea in 2016 by establishing a home in Samcheong-dong. Perrotin is a world-class gallery founded by Emmanuel Perrotin in 1990 and operating 11 branches in 7 cities, including Paris, New York, Hong Kong, Tokyo, and Dubai. After opening a gallery in Samcheong-dong, the fact that Perrotin, which has been steadily introducing Korean artists such as Park Seo-bo and Jeong Chang-seop to overseas and foreign artists to Korea, has opened a second space in Seoul shows how much attention Seoul is currently receiving in the global art market. Perrotin Dosan Park, with its impressive front façade that gives off a refreshing feel, consists of two floors and is larger and cooler than the existing Samcheong-dong gallery.
