Figure Museum W
From children to adults A figure museum where people of all ages can have fun. Figures can be found on all seven floors, from the second basement level to the fifth floor above ground. It's a lot of fun to see everything from characters that appear in Japanese and American comics and animations to Marvel characters in movies. There are limited edition figures that cannot be found anywhere else, so don't miss out and check them out. COEX Aquarium
A place where you can experience the underwater world up close, the aquarium. This aquarium located in COEX offers an underwater environment that is close to nature and over 40,000 aquatic creatures of over 650 species. Children can have an interesting and useful time by being able to see manatees, a very large, rare and endangered herbivore, and over 110 sharks of 17 species. National Customs Museum
The National Customs Museum was established to remember the history of customs and the hard work of customs officials who protected customs sovereignty and national interests. It was built on the first floor of the Seoul Headquarters Customs Office in August 2000 to commemorate the 30th anniversary of the opening of the Korea Customs Service. Although the inside of the museum is not very large, it is well-organized, including a promotional video room, a customs history hall, a customs administration hall, and a customs diplomacy hall. National Library for Children and Youth
The National Library holds the largest amount of children's and youth books and materials in the country. It is comprised of the 1st to 4th floors underground, with an augmented reality experience center on the 1st basement floor, a story room where books are read to children and Picture Book Country, a collection of materials for children, on the first floor, and a Hope Creation Room, an experiential story telling room, Spatial Imagination, Spatial Hope, and an exhibition room on the second floor. The 3rd and 4th floors have a space with domestic and international children's literature award winners, research materials, picture books and children's books from around the world, and an augmented reality picture bookstore, giving children and teenagers time to develop their imagination and dreams. Ilwon Raon English Library
The first municipal English library in the district. The Ilwon Laon English Library, located on the first basement level of the Ilwon Sports Culture Center, has over 18,000 English books, including picture books, pop-up books, and chapter books, that can be read at all levels from infants to adults, and over 800 movie DVDs. There are also various English-related events and clubs where you can learn about native English teachers and Christmas culture, so if you are interested, be sure to participate with your children. Next to the library, there is also a children's indoor playground where children under the age of 6 can play, so you can spend time here with your children after reading a book. Ilwon Eco Park
Rebirth of the Tancheon Water Reuse Center established for the purpose of sewage treatment. A newly opened park in 2017. Within the park, there are various sports facilities such as tennis courts, futsal courts, badminton courts, foot volleyball courts, and gateball courts, as well as a greenhouse botanical garden and a green park. In particular, the greenhouse botanical garden is used as an educational center for children as it allows them to see a variety of plants.
