After a busy day surrounded by fast-passing cars and people, everyone wants to take some time to walk in nature. Gangnam is the most complex and busy city, but it is also a city with many places to rest and relax.

Gangnam Dulle-gil

A trail where you can see beautiful cherry blossoms in spring and leaves falling beautifully in fall. A total of four courses are available, including the Luxury River Trail, Ecological River Trail, Summit Forest Trail, and Dule Forest Trail. Myeongpum River Trail is a course that starts from Yangjaecheon and walks toward the upper reaches of Tancheon, and you can also see the Yangjaecheon cherry blossom road in spring. We also recommend the Ecological Stream Trail, a course that goes up the Tancheon Stream and reaches Segok Stream. The level of difficulty varies depending on the section, so choose one that suits your taste.

Daemosan Mountain

Daemosan Mountain, approximately 293m high, was known as a famous place during the Joseon Dynasty and was used as a tomb site for royal families for generations. The shape of the mountain resembled an old grandmother, so it was called Halmisan Mountain. During the Joseon Dynasty, when Heonreung, the tomb of King Taejong Yi Bang-won and his wife Queen Wongyeong Min, was built to the south of Daemosan Mountain, it was called Daemosan Mountain by royal order. From the top of the mountain, you can see the Gangnam area and the Han River. At the beginning of the mountain, there is a natural learning center planted with various rare trees, making it good for children and families to take a walk.

Maebongsan Mountain

Maebongsan Mountain is also called Dokguri Mountain because there are many stones at the bottom of the mountain. The mountain range extending east from Umyeonsan passes through the low hills of Yangjae Intersection and forms the 88m and 95m peaks of Maebongsan Mountain in Dogok-dong. Because it is a low mountain, it is good for a light stroll, and oak trees occupy 60% of the total area, so it is good to walk while drinking phytoncide.
