Coreana Museum of Art presents its 2026 special exhibition "Folding Acts: Rhythm Experiment," exploring rhythms across painting, drawing, performance, sculpture and video. The show reconfigures everyday repetition and difference through bodily and medial gestures, foregrounding process over result and reframing the museum as a site of experiment.
Participating artists are Lee Yun-jung (b. 1975), Lim Seon-koo (b. 1990) and Jung Hee-min (b. 1987). Drawings and paintings emerge as accumulated traces of repeated bodily acts; installations operate as performative devices that engage the viewer's senses and movement; performances are presented alongside their score-like records, proposing ways to extend bodily motions that would otherwise vanish.
