Espace Louis Vuitton Seoul
The Foundation's Collection Is More Than Enough
Introduction

Following Tokyo, Munich, Venice, and Beijing, the city Espace Louis Vuitton chose next was Seoul — specifically, Cheongdam-dong in Gangnam. World-renowned architect Frank Gehry left the fourth floor of the building as an art space, which Espace Louis Vuitton now occupies. Its greatest advantage lies in its extensive international network and the collections of the Louis Vuitton Foundation. Works by prominent and emerging artists — many little-known in Korea — are curated by Louis Vuitton's artistic director and tour major cities worldwide. The foundation's own holdings are so vast that an Andy Warhol exhibition is possible from its collection alone. Admission is free, but advance reservation is required.
