Introduction

The night at Gangnam Station is dazzling than the day. Between Exit 11 and Exit 12 of Gangnam Station, ‘Gangnam Square’ has been reborn as a K-culture performance hall and ‘G-LIGHT’, 18 media poles that light up Gangnam Boulevard, each shining with different charms, making Gangnam Station even more special.
Gangnam Square, which was reborn as a new space through a large media wall where K-POP videos are constantly broadcast and the ‘I L♡VE GANGNAM style’ sculpture symbolizing ‘Gangnam Station where the heart beats and flutters’, is operated as a permanent K-culture performance hall, providing a variety of attractions to those who visit Gangnam Station. It is a popular photo spot during the day, but it is especially valuable in the evening when the lighting is added. The lighting of the heart-shaped (♡) sculpture symbolizing a pounding heart and the colorful LED floor lights add vitality to Gangnam Station, and in combination with the dynamic night view of the city, it is transformed into a photo zone of light.
In a section of approximately 760m from Gangnam Station to Shinnonhyeon Station, 18 media poles G-LIGHT turn Gangnam-daero into a colorful street of light. The three-sided LED pole transmits not only advertisements but also various media art that catches people's eyes, and a kiosk at the bottom increases convenience for citizens and travelers.
This scenery, which combines street lights, colorful sculptures, media poles, and the movement of countless people, is the stage for a light festival in the city and makes Gangnam shine even more as a night view attraction that anyone can freely enjoy.
