The Gangnam Medical Tour Center is running a series of K-Culture and K-Beauty experience classes for foreign visitors throughout August 2026 — from traditional norigae ornaments to herbal lip balm and mother-of-pearl keyrings. (about 10 participants per session)
August Experience Classes
- Aug 6 (Thu) 14:00 – 15:00 — Jem Air Freshener Norigae Making Class (K-Culture): create a beautiful Korean norigae using wax. The finished piece has a transparent, gemstone-like appearance and serves as a sparkling, fragrant accessory.
- Aug 13 (Thu) 14:00 – 15:00 — Jawoongo Herbal Lip Balm Making Class (K-Beauty): make your own colorful lip balm using natural oils and vitamin E. Decorate it with one of five colorful sticker designs to create your own unique lip balm.
- Aug 20 (Thu) 14:00 – 15:00 — Incense Norigae Making Class (K-Culture): create a traditional Korean norigae with handmade incense. Experience the charm of Korean fragrance while making an elegant accessory with a long-lasting scent.
- Aug 27 (Thu) 14:00 – 15:00 — Mother-of-Pearl Keyring Making Class (K-Culture): design a unique keyring using traditional Korean mother-of-pearl. Arrange and attach shimmering shell pieces to create your own handcrafted accessory.
