Key Sights

Daemosan Mountain Starting Point

01. Daemosan Mountain

Named Daemosan by royal decree after King Taejong's Heolleung tomb was enshrined here. The 'Jarak-gil,' a gentle-slope trail opened in 2021, lets anyone comfortably enjoy the forest, and the mountain also features mineral springs and a nature learning center.

Dalteo Neighborhood Park Waypoints

02. Dalteo Neighborhood Park

A restful urban green space where lush forest paths meet comfortable walking trails, equipped with a range of facilities for walking, exercise, and nature experiences for local residents.

Bulguksa Temple Waypoints

03. Bulguksa Temple

A temple with a longer history than Jogyesa Temple (1396). Famous for its small 80cm Buddha statue and nestled on the slopes of Daemosan, it offers a tranquil setting for prayer and a quiet walk.

Guryongsan Mountain Endpoint

04. Guryongsan Mountain

Legend has it that ten dragons were ascending to the sky when spotted by a person, and only nine made it — hence the name Guryongsan (Nine Dragons Mountain). Connected hiking trails let visitors trek Daemosan and Guryongsan together.
