As Gangnam continues to evolve, single-family homes and multi-unit residences have given way to neighborhood commercial facilities and office buildings. Today, the area is home primarily to advertising, design, and entertainment companies—young, creative professionals who seek work environments that break free from conventional, monotonous office settings. Innerspace is a rental office building designed with these tenants in mind.

Since the 1970s, Gangnam has transformed from a pastoral landscape into a modern urban center. Innerspace aims to foster creativity and dialogue among its occupants by providing work and social spaces that seamlessly connect the interior with the outdoors, encouraging them to shape the building into a distinctive place of their own.
