Cheongdam Station Fine Dust-Free Zone

In the underground passage of Cheongdam Station on Subway Line 7, you can breathe freely and even exercise — even on days with severe air pollution. This is thanks to the 'Fine Dust-Free Zone' — Korea's first green-themed park created inside a subway station in 2020, serving as an alternative walking path. A 650-meter section is covered with air-purifying plants grown in the station's own smart farm, and 72 air purifiers run 24 hours a day. Nature-inspired interior design throughout makes it hard to keep walking without stopping to look.
