Jinmi Pyongyang Naengmyeon
A Taste That Calls for Drinks Before Noodles
Introduction

Jinmi Pyongyang Naengmyeon didn't earn its spot among Gangnam's top restaurants just by appearing on multiple TV shows. More than anything, it's the craftsmanship of Chef Im Se-kwon, a naengmyeon master with over 20 years of experience. The broth — subtly salty with a gentle hint of beef — is delicious enough to win over even naengmyeon newcomers. The light yet pleasantly chewy noodles strongly ignite the desire for seonju-humyeon (drinking first, then noodles). Side dishes like stir-fried eggplant with shrimp, pork, and dumplings are equally popular. In 2021, it was selected for the Michelin Guide Bib Gourmand (restaurants offering outstanding food for under 35,000 won).
