About

The museum reveals sleek curves that symbolize lotus petals folding upon one another. The lotus metaphor for the museum represents the connection between the possessions of the deceased and the living. It is the world's first building to have its entire facade covered in mother-of-pearl overlaid with glass. Horim Art Center features exhibition halls on three floors for both classical and contemporary art, while the fourth floor offers a leisurely deck garden overlooking the busy city below.
