Introduction

Milmiri Bridge, connecting Daechi Middle School to the Korean Red Cross to the Seoul Southern Blood Center, is a bridge over Yangjaecheon famous for its public design featuring a media facade and mist fountain. About 50 meters of the existing handrails on both sides were removed and replaced with 'Smart Glass (G-glass)' that displays video combining information and art. In autumn 2020, an outdoor sculpture exhibition using a 'walking-through' format was held around Milmiri Bridge as an alternative to social distancing — bringing smiles to passersby.
