Introduction

Along the Segokcheon waterway between Sutnae Bridge and Daegok Bridge sits Yulhyeon Park, which opened in November 2016. Historically known as 'Chestnut Hill' for the abundance of chestnut trees, the park's landmark is its eco-friendly entrance management building. The park is divided into north and south sections: walking trails surround the management building, while across the way, a retention basin controlling Tancheon's water levels supports various aquatic plants and waterfowl.
